Pumpkin Waffles

‘Tis the season. Get the pumpkin and the spices out of your pantry! I’m coming to you with a recipe that will make your mornings more joyful. It combines something we all love and a festive little ingredient. I present you my Pumpkin Waffles recipe. Bon appétit!

Prep time : 15 minutes / Cooking time : 2-3 minutes for each waffle / Yield : 10-12 waffles

 Dry Ingredients :                                                     Wet Ingredients :

2 cups all-purpose flour                                             3 large eggs
1/4 cup brown sugar                                                     1 1/3 cup milk of your choice
1 teaspoon baking powder                                         1/4 cup maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon baking soda                                           3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1/4 teaspoon salt                                                           1 cup pumpkin puree
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
Steps : 
1. In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients. In a second bowl, whisk eggs, milk, maple syrup, butter and pumpkin puree.
2. Add wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix until well combined.
3. Bake the waffles in your greased waffle iron according to its instructions.
